Your Creative Source for Graphic Design

Susan cropped.png

From a young age, my passion for design was clear. At just eight years old, I was recognized for my Easter egg designs at the Chicago Public Library, and by seventeen, I had earned a scholarship to the Art Institute of Chicago. What began as an innate love of creativity evolved into a fulfilling career when I founded my freelance graphic design firm, Indetail Design, in 2002.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients—from global industry leaders to local businesses—delivering creative solutions that span illustration, branding suites, print collateral, and web design. My approach blends artistry with strategy, ensuring every project not only looks compelling but also communicates effectively.

Before establishing Indetail Design, I gained invaluable experience working with two internet design and development startups. At GoDaddy.com, I helped shape the company’s early online presence by designing websites and creating promotional materials. Between 1995 and 1997, I served as the lead web designer for Loyola University Medical Center, where I developed the first websites for several medical divisions and played a key role in building LUMEN (Loyola University Medical Education Network). Earlier in my career, I also refined my skills during an internship at Spiegel, Inc.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communications from Loyola University Chicago, a foundation that continues to guide my dedication to thoughtful, impactful design.
